Getting pregnant is a dream of
each women. Be a healthy pregnant women
and to get a healthy child, you should
keep some diets, planning,caring,investigations ,medications etc

Follow these things if you want to get pregnant
- STOP USING CONTRACEPTIVES
If you started thinking to became a
healthy mother, you must stop using contraceptives such as I-pills,
MalaD,Copper-T,Condoms etc. Sometimes use of I-Pills will delay your ovulation.
- SCHEDULE AND CONSULT WITH DOCTOR
Consult with an
experienced gynaecologist. So you doctor
can collect your family history, medical history,physical examination,blood and
urine test and scanning. Now a days most of the doctors check TORCH test to find out the chance of
TORCH infection. Torch infection is very
dangerous.it may cause foetal death or any abnormalities in growth of
embryo. Doing scanning will help to know
the presence of any cyst or tumours. After getting the reports normal, doctor
will suggest the days to do sexual intercourse.
- AVOID UNWANTED MEDICATION
Some of the drugs which
we use commonly to reduce fever or pain,
sleeping pills etc may cause fetal death or miscarriage of pregnancy. So you
should report your doctor about the medicines which you are using usually.
- SCHEDULE A DENTAL APOINTMENT
In pregnancy , most of the people
faces dental infection. They used to have snacks ,nuts or fruits while watching TV or while chit chatting.
Sometime you may forget to wash your mouth…its quite natural. But the bacteria
will not forget it. So it may cause dental infections. So clear out all the
dental problems with the consultant of an expert dentist
- TAKE FOLIC ACID AND MULTI VITAMINS
From my personal experience I am telling you
this is one of the main thing you must follow without fail. Because folicacid
has an important role in babies brain growth. Apart from that it has a vital role in keeping the uterus wall strong . You must take 90 days before getting
pregnant .this will help to keep your uterus strong and healthy. Multivitamins
will help to maintain all your nutritional needs. Take multi vitamin tablet one times a day in
morning and have it for 90 days along with folic acid tablets.

- PLAN YOUR BUDGET
Budget is an important thing you must
do first. Because you should have to pay a lot of bucks for medications, food
,laboratory test , sonography etc. you keep some money in bank or somewhere invest for the expense of pregnancy and delivery
- AVOID ALCOHOL AND SMOKING
Using alcohol and smoking is injurious to our
health. For that I think explanation is
not necessary because the harmful effect of alcohol and smoking is quite common
and everybody knows it.
- REDUCE USE OF TEA AND COFFE
I am not recommending you to stop
using tea or coffee. But you should
reduce it . use only one time a day. Tea
and coffee is also not good for health.
- AVOID STRESS AND STRAIN
Taking too much tension and stress may
depress your mind. That may cause mental changes. It will affect the pregnancy
later. So avoid such atmosphere. Try to read good books, novels, stories,
magazines, watch good movies ( not Horror) and listen to music. Listening music
is a best way to keep mind fresh and cool
- MAINTAIN HYGIENE TO AVOID INFECTION:
Maintain hygiene is not a hard job. Wash your
hands thoroughly before and after having foods.
Bath two times a day, brush your teeth morning and night.
- EAT SEA FOODS AND VEGETABLES:
Sea food contains a lot of omega and
zinc . zinc has a crucial role in reproductive system. It helps to strengthen
the reproductive organs and increase the count of semen. This sea food helps to
maintain the thyroid level of hypothyroidism patient. But seafood is not
recommended for hypertension patient
- DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
Drinking plenty of water keeps your
body cool and it will prevent chance of URINARY TRACT INFECTION. Try to drink
10-12 glass of water
- MONITOR BODY WEIGHT
Maintain BMI (Body Mass Index) . its
simple. Check your height.make it in centimetre. Subtract it by 100. The
answer is your ideal weight. For example
your height is 160 cm .
160-100=60. So you should keep 58 to 62 kg
- RECORD MENSTRUATION AND OVULATION DATE
Note your menstruation date and find out the
duration ,ovulation and menstrual cycle.
If it is not regular, you should take some medicines with doctor’s order to make it regular. Irregular cycle affects
pregnancy.
